APRIL 77 // & THE YOUTH CULTURE

Ph via April77.fr

You probably know us by now, but if you don’t, well here is a bit of more information. We are two “grown girls” devoted to fashion and computerised devices. We were both born in the eighties and we love rock n’ roll and the “never goes wrong” minimalistic style. We do believe in using other colours but we think black goes with about anything. We are girlie anyway, we love having our caffe latte and resume how the week went in whimsical cafes, painted in pink and listening to good ol’ 20’s music.
Daily I browse through many designers collections to keep up with their lovely work and during my search I found the french label April 77, who absolutely has taken my breath way (never mind my respiratory problems). At Dashmere.com our “style” is Scandinavian, very minimal and extremely comfortable, so April 77 fits right in our tasting buds.
April77 is a French ready-to-wear brand founded in 2002 by Brice Partouche. Inspired by “artistic and cultural references of the Youth Culture,” slim cut jeans and oxfords in dark and muted tones, graphic tees, and biker jackets make up the brand’s rock-star aesthetic.
